This is a really awesome front end. I could not get squeezeplay to compile properly and actually have any sound output. Just alsa errors everywhere. I installed LMS, squeezelite and this on my Raspberry Pi and it is a very nice setup.
I am working on a car radio deisgn using this software for the front end. I have some volume level issues to resolve, but this should work perfectly on my 4.3" screen. I plan to retrofit some old Philco radios I was using a windows setup in with the raspeberry Pi setup as well... I am using Teensy to send keystrokes to the Pi for the button presses and knob turns. My one question, though, involves the screensavers. My Squeezebox radio and duet (and my windows based squeezeplay players) have the option to show the clock as a screensaver. That option is completely missing in Jivelite. I'm sure this is due to how most users will use it. Is it possible to add this functionality back in easily or would it be a major challenge? +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Raspberry Pi Radio.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=15057| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jemmicat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36060 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98156 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
