watching what you guys are up to and very exciting. I have used jogglers with squeezeplayer for years now as my means of displaying what is playing on my SB3's and Transporter. They work really well, but the ideal is to have a new headless unit with great DAC and a HDMI to the TV with a large display for easy viewing of what is playing and what is coming up. Seems like the community is on it. So I will be happy to part with some cash when these project reach a level of maturity.
I would be happy to contribute my limited skills (if needed), they fall in the design and the aesthetic. While not a graphic designer I do a lot of work with iconographic for my job and would be happy to rework any copyright images etc... here is my 5 min interpretation of how to use a 1080 HD screen. shame to waste all that lovely space. Key for me is to have room for long title, artist and album details in the largest font for distance viewing. also to include playlist, not so vital to read this from a distance, but I am sure with some careful sizing would be readable from a distance. icons for repeat and shuffle there in case you have them selected as a visual clue, and progress bar for track position. could add the volume slider, but I personally don't see much value (I run mine at 100% anyway so am biased here). Do you guys think you can move the code around to combine the now playing and playlist views like this? would be excellent. Watching with interest and let me know if you want me to help with icons etc...
