The device is listed by each of the audio subsystems supported by
portaudio.

The 1.3-dev binary includes the audio subsystem name after the device.

Download it into the same directory as 1.2 since it requires the
additional DLLs from the 1.2  zip file to work.

For me I'd use in order of preference asio, wasapi, mme
