Thanks for the reply to my queries above. I made the volume adjustment you suggested above and I did notice the volume get louder. Is this change stored to the SD card or do I need to type the command every time the Pi is rebooted?
Secondly, I do have option #2 set, to output to the 3.5mm analog jack. This unit is using the Edimax wireless adapter, which is the exact same hardware configuration I have setup on two other Pi. The only difference is that the other two are using DACs and this one is not. Should I try setting an "-a" option to increase the alsa buffer?
