thanks. but the reality is virtualised debian VMs running squeezelite work fantastically well. The only issue I have is when I connect an Android device into the sync group. Originally I used to run squeezelite natively under windows but the issue I had was that the portaudio version (that runs under windows) did not maintain sync over time - since I switched to Debian VMs under VMware workstation I have no sync issues between multiple VMs on different physical machines, so it's just the sync to the android device that the issue is. It's an easy one to reproduce. I don't suspect squeezelite to be the cause - I suspect the issue is the different way android squeeze clients are integrated into android alsa. But the configuration could be common enough if it worked properly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ashleyw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58923 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
