(That is my understanding.) Yes I have jumper set to 18bit.
"32 bit output from upsample" - does this mean 32bit/352.8 from 16/44.1 but the 32bit sample will actually have 16bit of information and 16bits padded with zeros? What about hirez? for 24/96 following the above logic will have 32/384 with 24bit information and 6 padded zeros, thus truncated to 18bit we loose the lowest 6bits. Shouldn't everything be converted to 18 or 16bits (what SoX supports) and dither? JackOfAll wrote: > EDIT: Interesting, your upsample settings. I use "-u vM::2::87.5::". Good you reminded that I might need more attenuation. Otherwise I've set 28bit precision but the "v" setting might already doing that - so basically our settings are similar. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ vzs's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42968 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
