Vortexbox is about the easiest thing there is to setup. The only gotcha is that you have to have an optical drive to install it. It works best with internal drives. Download the ISO, burn the CD on another machine, put the CD in the server machine, turn it on. Follow the prompts. After installation it runs headless, everything is via a web browser on another machine. About as simple as it gets.
