The quality is impressive. I was using HDMI before which already sounds great, but with the HiFiBerry there is even more clarityin the music and more dynamic range. I did not try 192k files yet, but uncompressed Flac music (Wimp HiFi) sounds really good. I'm not 100% sure about the alsa settings yet, currently I'm running the usual - a 80:4 and it seems to be working.
