@Paul I checked and found some strange results...
nslookup works, no problems there. Squeezelite can connect to my server, but only if I stop and restart it. So, after a reboot it won't connect to my remote server, but if I then enter the menu and restart squeezelite (without any further changes) it immediately pops up on my server. Is there any way to automate this since I won't be able to access the Pi once it's abroad?
