By the way, this is what my test board looks like with the SSD drive:
15612 15613 The idea is to use a 1455T2201 Hammond enclosure. I still need to install and test a small dac board I found to drive my VU meters. The dac will be fed by the digital output board and is buffered from the spdif interface. The amplifier is already mounted behind the VU meters. The amplifier will allow for the 0dB adjustment of the meters. GPIO_19 is still used to drive the VU meter lights and also servers as a streamer status indicator. I will also provide a relay output that can be used to drive other stuff when the streamer is on. Triode: the one thing I'm still missing is that the IR remote control is able to switch off the streamer (power button). At present, the power button does not affect the state of squeezelite (it works fine on a Squeezebox).
