It's the -b setting for the streaming and decoding buffer. It's kB. So 50000kB will make 50MB. That's sufficient for most of flacs Rough outline: 10MB=1minute 16/44.1 PCM ca. 3 minutes flac. 50MB would cover 15minutes flac. Obviously all this will raise if you start streaming hires data. You'll notice peak load for a couple of seconds on the ethernet while loading the track. And than there is only signaling ongoing between server and client. Triode: Did you have a chance to look into output to stdout/pipe. I'd love to use SL for feeding brutefir (DRC/active crossovers/equalizations) I could also perfectly run my subwoofer crossover. Sorry for bugging/begging. ;) Cheers ::: ' Touch Toolbox and more' (http://soundcheck-audio.blogspot.com) ::: by soundcheck ------------------------------------------------------------------------ soundcheck's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34383 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
