Pascal, In anticipation of testing the web-gui with regard to cifs mounts and credential files, we can't really have credential files being generated anywhere on the file system, so they are going to need to live in one place, and that place is /etc/credentials. Can you create that dir as root, copy your credentials file to it, (root,root,0600), and edit fstab to change the mount options for your cifs share, (credentials=/etc/credentials/your_file), and remount it.
I did a couple of hours work yesterday and an hour today on the web-gui, adding a framework for cifs credentials files. Not finished yet. I need to add a little plumbing logic. But if after doing the above, you install the latest testing version of squeeze-web-gui, you can see where I am going with this. (Don't do anything other than mount/unmount for existing cifs fstab entries. I'll finish it this weekend.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
