I would have the credentials file if I was willing to store session state in tomcat. Right now it is not available, each request is isolated. So yes, even thought I create and use a credentials file for mounting a non-persisted cifs mount, because it is not stored to fstab, I lose the name of the credentials file. After the mount, because it is not stored in session state or fstab, I can only get back info from the mount cmd listing the mounted file systems, which only gives me username and domain for cifs mounts. 9It does not show pass=xxx or credentials=xxx. Security reasons, I suspect.) So unless I store the credentials param across requests when not using fstab to persist, it's always going to be a problem. But for unmounting a non-persisted mount, we don't need credentials anyway, so that's why I have only allowed unmount as an option for non-persisted. I haven't sat there with a stopwatch, so can't give exact numbers...... But the F20 shutdown process, switching back to a ram backed image, results in a faster shutdown. Yet another reason to want to push forward with F20. Which as soon as I get the final wording back from legal on the CS license, which is all we are waiting for now, will be released. I'm getting fed up with having sat on my hands so long with this image. And as I also can't reproduce any of the wireless issues on the F20 image, is yet another reason to move forward with it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
