First of all, thanks a lot for this wonderful piece of software, which
really integrates well in my home entertainment system. I hooked the
raspberry pi up to a Denon AVR which is capable of understanding sample
rates up to 192 khz.
Unfortunately, PiCorePlayer seems to deliver only up to 48 khz, even
when higher sample rates are played. To isolate the issue I just tried
playing a wav file converted from a 96khz flac file via aplay:
Code:
--------------------
Playing WAVE '01 - Chan Chan.wav' : Signed 24 bit Little Endian in 3bytes,
Rate 96000 Hz, Stereo
Plug PCM: Rate conversion PCM (48000, sformat=S16_LE)
Converter: libspeex (builtin)
Protocol version: 10002
Its setup is:

subformat : STD

exact rate : 96000 (96000/1)

--------------------
So, the file is re-sampled with 48 khz which brings me to the conclusion
that the system thinks the sound driver cannot handle higher rates.
Is there a way to "force" higher rates?
I'm using PiCorePlayer 1.12d.
Thanks a lot for your help, highly appreciated! :o
