There is a subtle difference in the squeezelite command line options. The "-n" option (lowercase) provides a player name that is persistent. While it is still possible to override the name for the current session, on reboot the default name returns. The "-N" option (uppercase) provides a local file that contains the player name. Any changes made from the remote controller (like iPeng or even browser) will be stored in the local file and return when rebooted. This should provide a way for the player name to be set through both the piCorePlayer web interface as well as through the final user's controller of choice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mcdudeabides's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57765 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
