If I configure Samba from mywandboard's.ip.address:8081/system.html, the variables for workgroup and netbios name in smb.conf are placed in inverted commas. I manually removed the inverted commas on both, re-started Samba, and now my Wandboard is displaying as a network share in Windows 8.1 File Explorer, and I can again access it from Putty by inputting the word wandboard (instead of ip address) Squeezebox Classic:2; Duet: 1; Boom:1; Touch:1; Wandboard Quad; Squeezelite.
