Patience, grasshopper! ;) I have a whole lot to say on the subject. Want to get the software out there before saying things that might encourage people to go buy one, then complain that there isn't the software to put on it. But yes, pound for pound the dual Cubie is a slight bit slower, (less than 10%), in synthetic benchmarks, compared to the dual WB. Butt you wont notice it in day-to-day use. And anything that passes my torture test, of running a squeezelite on the HDMI audio out, another squeezelite on the USB out with upsample to 384k, servicing 3 other hardware squeezelite clients as well from LMS running on the same device, while running 2 parallel -j4 kernel compiles....... Try doing that on a Pi or BeagleBone and getting any audio playing, let alone perfect audio from all 5 clients! (The LMS web gui was a little slow while that was going on, but hey..... ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
