We're not using a JS designed filter. Using the SoX Resample library (libsoxr). Gandhi wrote: > If in sw (SoX?), does anyone know how it affects the performance? I expect it's not going to be a problem. I typically see CPU usage of 30% (a single core) using soxr to upsample to 384k. Based on the brutefir numbers posted above, I don't believe "horsepower" is going to be a problem, combining them. (Gut feeling, rather than tested fact. I've got too much on my plate to say I'll verify this. I'd rather hope that the people who want to use it would test it. ;)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
