Thanks again, Triode. I had a few minutes, so based on your earlier hint I tried a different binary of portaudio.dll that I found (from https://github.com/adfernandes/precompiled-portaudio-windows). Hopefully that wasn't bastardizing your work. :) Same issue occurred... So I'm writing the JPLAY guys. I'll definitely let you know how it turns out (if there's a resolution or if anything is learned).
