Thanks.  I have now done some more investigation into what Norton is
worried about.  It seems that if < 5 occurrences are found of a program
amongst their users they may raise a 'WS.Reputation.1' alert, meaning
that the program is rare, not that it has a virus.  

So I still get the alert with the new version, but can tell Norton to
ignore it.

So apologies for bothering you with this, but it may happen to someone
else, at least in the short term.  We clearly need more users!

44.1->192kbps. Wired Touch + EDO, coax to Musical Fidelity M1 CLiC.
Wireless Xubuntu 12.04 laptop controls LMS via Chromium.   Meridian
Explorer USB DAC to listen via Squeezelite on Vortexbox & other PCs as
required.  Spare Touch in loft.
