The electronic component section seemed a bit of an after-thought..... I was lucky when I was a teen. Had a small, independent radio/tv repair shop a couple of miles away. The old boy that owned it was into HAM radio. Got me into tubes. I used to come back from that shop, with sack fulls of transformers, tubes, HT caps that he "stripped" out of old radio gear, all for free. And he'd order anything for me that he didn't have on the shelf. One day I went back to the shop, stood outside it scratching my head that is was now a Chinese take away. He had passed away. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395
