HI Thomas. You will need to update the kernel (or if you build it by yourself you will have to enable "DMA_CMA" and "CMA" when you use "make menuconfig").
I build it for 3.14.1, but I think that it should be possible for you just to do a rpi-update from your SqueezePlug system. Also the firmware needs to be updated (the three *.elf files). Then after a reboot it is all enabled by default - and it is playing extremely well now. Unfortunately I don't have an USB-DAC that uses isochronous transactions, but it is supposed to be working now. If you have one please test piCorePlayer with it and report your findings.
