Pascal, Us mere mortals will have to learn a bit of git. The crude, but simple solution is to your problem is to delete the soa-aur directory and re-create it with the git clone command, then do the update. If you made any changes to your local copy of soa-aur you wish to preserve, the you'll have to work out the git commands to do that, otherwise they will be lost.
