I wouldn't go that far. LOL. Actually, from the community side of things, it is a crap deal. It has cost me the Bone Player design and software that I would have released under the GPL. I'm really not happy about the total commercialisation of the Bone Player. I was talking to you about making the cape available at a little over cost for the DIY/geek crowd, max £50. It's now going to appear as a commercial product, supplied with BBB (element14 commercial version), image in NAND, power supply, and a custom plastic case that they are designing, but the price point they are going for is somewhere between £249-£299. Which is going to price quite a few people who would have had a dabble with it, out of the game. Still, having been able to back-to-back with the Pi and a couple of the plug-in I2S DAC's that have been released for that, I don't need to worry that the SQ will let it down at that price point. But it really is a shame that people who might have had a dabble, with a £50 cape and £40 for a BBB, will never get the chance. But anyway, I was over a barrel, just wanting to get at least the source back online for what had been released up to now. Expect an announcement next week. ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101648
