I'm afraid that 'other thread' and the ondemand governor (of which I've
never heard before) are a bit beyond me.  All I can see is that when
using, for instance, System Monitor, the total load across all 4 cpus,
and the load reported for the one process, are reported as being a lot
less, I assume that's true.  Of course 100% of 1Ghz <> 100% of 2Ghz, but
I have no idea why you are even stating that.

LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi running Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. Wired Touch + EDO, coax to Musical Fidelity M1 CLiC.
Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop controls LMS via Chromium.   Meridian
Explorer USB DAC to listen via Squeezelite on Vortexbox & other PCs as
required.  Spare Touch in loft.
