I just wanted to thank Triode. I had a surprisingly difficult time writing the card, but that may have been my inexperience with (micro) sd cards, file formats, etc. In any case it seems to be working well. I have, btw, a somewhat unusual use case: Our apartment is wired for multi-room sound, and like some, I have three additional instances of squeezelite driving amps to remote rooms. Usually synced, but so far so good. I'll need to implement these additional players, I think, as a service in arch.....
The only suggestion would be to move the 'easy way' to the initial post, so people can see how easy this really is....
