By default it uses the 3.10.17 kernel from the wandboard git with a
single patch applied which swaps over the mmc slots.  See here:

I was planning to see if we can just patch this kernel with the spdif
changes.  The plan was to create a new entry in soa-aur which does this
and this can then be built on the device using makepkg.

First I need to work out which patches can be applied and I've not
looked at yet...  (Afraid spotify and dsdplay plugins have had my free
time for the last week or so)
