I totally agree. I especially like PiCorePlayer because it's simplicity.
That is the strenght of this wonderfull piece of software. You don't
have to be a Linux professor to get it working on the RPi. I'm using a
Hifimediy Sabre usb dac. It plays (with default settings) 16 & 24 bit
44, 48, 88 & 96 Khz flac really excellent. I would like to upgrade to a
wandboard dual or quad  but I'm hesitating because it's so complicated
to get it working.
