I'm not Steen, but as someone who knows a little about DSD support and not wanting you to pull your hair out..... Do yourself a favour..... Do it on the back-end, not on the Pi. If you have LMS 7.9 on a server, install Triode's PlayDSD plugin and either transcode to PCM or DoP on the server and pass-through squeezelite. (Even if there is a squeezelite with native DSD support for pico, I'd be starting it with '-e dsd' to exclude native DSD support being registered with the server as a supported codec, and transcoding on the backend. The Pi isn't really up to the task, either repacking DSD64 as DOP into a 176k4 PCM stream, or transcoding it to PCM via built-in dsd2pcm and sox resample.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
