I've had a chance to do a quick test on 1.17 and I have a few
observations. As a point of reference, I have 2 Pi model B+'s connected
via ethernet and a model B connected via wifi. All have worked fine on
1.16 (getting the model B+'s to work through the insitu trick using the
model B first). My LMS is running on a QNAP NAS and I routinely control
it via the Android App's "Orange Squeeze" or "Squeeze Control" or via
the LMS web server when using Windows. I've run into 2 very minor issues
and one major one.

The first minor issue is that descriptor for the MAC address on the
Settings menu no longer shows the ethernet MAC address of the Pi. It
says that, "Set mac address, format: ab:cd:ef:12:34:56. Your RPIs
physical MAC is: Copy paste if you want to use it". No MAC address is
listed after "Your RPIs physical MAC is:".

The second minor issue is with the new Timezone feature under the Tweaks
menu. For whatever reason I can't get the submitted entry
(PST8PDT,M3.2.0,M11.1.0 for Los Angeles) to stick. After rebooting the
value always reverts back to the default.

Neither of those issues are a deal breaker (in fact I wasn't even going
to mention them until I ran into my third issue). I entered my
Squeezelite Server IP under the Settings menu to try out the basic
controls of the LMS that are added to the Pi's web page. The controls
showed up on each Pi's web page OK, but when I tried to access the LMS
via the Android App's mentioned above, they both timed out and said the
server was unreachable (that's never happened before). And while the LMS
was reachable via the Web Server in Windows, it was very slow and none
of the Pi's were available as players. Once I removed the entry for the
Squeezelite Server IP under the Settings menu for all 3 Pi's and
rebooted, full functionality was restored.

I don't know if this is unique to my setup or not. All 3 Pi's are now
functioning normally. I'll continue to test. Thanks again for an awesome
product.
