First of all: Great Job! I am looking for years now to have a small headless player that can play Hi-Res & 2.0 and 5.1 Flac Files. DSD Files would be a great bonus! No I've come to picoreplayer a few days ago, which seems to be great.
But, it's not working 100% for me :-) Hope, you can help ;-) I have a Raspberry Pi Model B connected via HDMI to my Yamaha RX-V3900 Receiver. First: When I use picoreplayer V 1.15bi I can stream 192khz Flac files and everything is fine out of the box. Every newer version (including 1.17) the maximum is 48khz. If I set '192000' in the settings, it does not work either. If I set '44100' it works and goes down to that. So it seems there is a strange limit at 48 khz since 1.15ei. Any ideas? Second: I am only able to output 2.0 audio. 5.1 Flac files in 96khz are transmitted in 2.0 to my receiver. Whats the problem here? Is picoreplayer / squeezelite only capable of 2.0 or is it LMS itself? Third: I am trying around with DFF files too, because squeezelite should be able to handle them. In the settings (I am using the web interface) there is a parameter called 'Device supports DoP'. What do I have to enter in the blank field to make it work? 'yes', 'DSD', 'DDSD'? :-) Because in the LMS Player I can choose a DFF file but there is no play button to play it... Would be very nice, if someone could help me out here ;-) Thanks again for your hard work! What can be done nowadays which such cheap and little hardware, because of your Software is great!
