Here my latest Feedback:

Last week I was thinking of Bob’s remark regarding the brutefir binaries
compiled in CSOS Fedora, and that maybe it was worth a Trial.
Therefore, I copied my last CSOS Image on an SD and compiled the
binaries in the Fedora environment. Still no luck with the example
filters from Sourceforge.

A few days ago, member Rob P was so Kind to send me his working filters
for brutefir. In SOA, with the brutefir binaries compiled in SOA, it did
still not work, same error log as Bob got:

Code:
--------------------

  ======== brutefirwrapper rev 12 starting at 1409396780 2014-08-30 11:06:20

Torger

On SOA, with the brutefir binary compiled in CSOS and Robs filters:
Bingo!
Even though the two files have exactly the same size, and both compiled
with no Errors.
Output is attenuated as expected, brutefir processes are present and
active taking 2 -5 % CPU each, and Logging in "brutefir.log" Looks OK:

The example filters from Sourceforge definitely don't work for me
neither. They even break the working configuration. In fact, when I
Switch to the example filter from Sourceforge and back on the good ones,
I don't get any Sound Output anymore (could not open file message on the
Player), I get it working again by deleting the "wisdom" file in the
"settings" Directory and a reboot.

I someone would like to try with the CSOS compiled "brutefir" binary, PM
me, I will be glad to email it. On my Wandboard (I yet tried only on the
new one) it is sufficient to swap the program binary, it works with the
modules in "lib/brutefir" compiled in SOA.

Regards to all

Michael
