Hi all,

For those that may be interested...

I attached a right-angled SATA cable to Wandboard and cut a small flat
slot into the standard enclosure just above the serial socket - this
allows the cable to exit the case. It's important to get a low profile
right-angled SATA cable otherwise the case won't re-attach correctly.
Then I attached a SATA to eSATA connector block to the free end of the
cable and plugged it into the eSATA port on an IcyBox containing a
2Gbyte WD hard drive formatted to Ext4. It's mounted on Wandboard as
usual - /mnt/disk1 -> /dev/sda1 -> Ext4

It works with no problem at all. I carry out all disc ripping and
tagging on a Win7 PC (NTFS discs) and transfer the files to Wandboard
HDD via network.

Have found out how to force HDD into standby after a predefined time of
inactivity as well.

Haven't tried to let Wandboard 'sleep' yet as I don't know if it has
Wake On Lan available. Anyone tried this yet?

Bob
