Hi Jesper

I have LMS running on Odroid & not Pi.  My Pi is now just a player.
Pi used to be the server but it wasn't fast enough.  Overnight rescan of
new music would take a couple of hours.  With Odroid it's 2 or 3
minutes.
No idea what you are asking with all your Linux syntax.  My good friend
set my system up for me.
IMO, Pi as just a player is completely fast enough. Never had any
problem when running with HiFiBerry card either.  Now it's doing very
little work as I have the external USB Teddy DAC.
