Another hint for being more efficient. 
Run squeezelite with -b 80000:300000 (=80MB:320MB) or similar. You
basically load the whole track 1st into streaming and then 
into the processing buffer.
There won't be any network streaming during playback. Especially on e.g.
RPI which combines USB and ethernet in one chip this is much more
efficient.
You'll see max CPU load during first couple of seconds (<10) of playback
and then squeezelite goes down to 0.3% CPU load (on my RPI!) during
playback.
With the ethernet settings I posted earlier the initial bulk load will
be handled much more efficient btw. 
Stream PCM instead of flacs.

As I said earlier. IPv6 ON/OFF from SOA settings would IMO be a feasible
approach. 
When it comes to net performance of the networking setup I'd rather
would like to have the option to turn it off. 
Especially if it can be done that easy.
