Hi Folks, Firstly this is a great project, thanks for this!
I've bought two pis and have them hooked up to two active speakers through the Aux Input, audio on both is set to fairly high as I want to use the LMS volume control. This is great. However, if i'm listening at low levels (using the LMS volume control) the audio is awful, very high noise. I've ordered a couple of Hifiberrys (not arrived yet), will this solve the problem, as it's a better quality signal? Or am I doing something wrong? I know the best solution would be to use the volume on the speakers, but then I lose a very nice feature of volume control through LMS.
