Just in case anyone comes along for the "last 10 second glitch" issue....
A quick recap: I have now installed LMS on three (!) different machines, and hooked up to two different pCPs (one B, another B+) and all combinations experience a skip/glitch/stutter exactly 10 seconds before the end of every track. This happens regardless of the "Use Crossfade" setting for the pCP, and only happens on analog out (built-in), and USB connection. It does not happen with the HifiBerry Digi. I originally thought I solved it by increasing the ALSA settings buffer from 80:4:: to 160:4::, but I realized after a while that did not work. Last night I think I permanently resolved this by changing the Buffer Size setting from blank to 512:512. That's for stream:output. I don't know which value fixed the glitch, but it is gone, for now :) Anyone else want to speculate on why this happens only with analog/USB? Is 512:512 going to cause me any issues down the road? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SamS's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9261 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
