That makes it sound way too scary! ;) Extract the xfce image, and dd to
8GB sdcard. Boot with ethernet attached. Completely non-techy users can
then use the xfce gui to get wi-fi working, (assuming you also boot with
monitor/keybaord attached), without needing to create/edit
/etc/sysconfig/{ifcfg-*,keys-*} config files.

Take firewalld out of the mix with "systemctl stop firewalld" and
prevent it from starting on the next reboot, "systemctl mask
firewalld".

Then it's just a matter of "yum install squeezelite". Edit
/etc/sysconfig/squeezelite config file to taste and "systemctl restart
squeezelite".

And "yum install logitechmediaserver" for LMS. You'll need to hand-edit
/etc/fstab to mount your music shares or USB drive.
