I'm not 100% sure where the problem is, but I appear to have some trouble with aduio Quality since I updated to 1.19. Maybe it's completely unrelated to the update, but both Internet Radio streams and Google Play Music Plugin have stated acting up a bit. I'm stepping back down to 1.18b for now and will see whether anything changes.
