Hi Mr. Floppy, I assume you are using the latest version of piCorePlayer? 1.19l I am using wireless on most of my piCorePlayers. At times I even do development on a wireless piCorePlayer. I have found wireless to be very reliable. Unfortunately, I don't have a EDIMAX EW-7811UN to test. Whenever I buy a EDIMAX EW-7811UN compatible USB wifi adaptor it turns out to be not compatible. Steps. ==== Power off your Raspberry Pi. Insert wifi USB adaptor. Power on your Raspberry Pi. Go to WIFI Setting page. Set wifi on. Add your SSID. Add your password. Add your security. Press save.
