Hi Ronnie,

Nice DAC !!

I'm glad you found the correct setting. I always use "generic" for my
ES9023 DACs. We did change the options when the RPi pluses arrived.

There is a subtle difference between the two options, "I2S generic"
loads module snd_soc_hifiberry_dac while "I2S Hifiberry DAC+" loads
module snd_soc_hifiberry_dacplus. I guess both have the same
description.

Timezone should be working fine for piCorePlayer1.19l. There was a
problem in 1.19m. Steen and I implemented timezone because we needed it
for syncing files based on the timestamp during code development. If
timezone isn't working we know about it straight away because we have
big problems.

regards
Greg
