I am using version "piCorePlayer v1.19l_RPi2" running usb into a Grant Fidelity tubedac-09. In general my music sounds better through the picoreplayer than through my squeezebox touch running to the s/pdif input. I seem to hear more detail. I have been trying out as many albums and streams as I can and found a couple of issues. No big deal really but I am curious.
One album I got from B&W Society of Sound, LSO live of Brahms German Requiem 96k 24 bit, plays fine through my touch but sounds like the orchestra is playing in a rain storm through the picoreplayer. I can hear the music but the white noise is predominant. All tracks do this. I found that Linn Jazz Radio will not play through picoreplayer. The url is "http://radio.linnrecords.com/cast/tunein.php/linnjazz/playlist.pls";. It plays through the touch fine. It is a 320k mp3 stream.
