Hi CommanderROR, The amp is supposed to be 25 watt output amp, so it must draw more than 25 watts when playing full volume with music with lots of bass. Class D amps are vey efficient (in the order of 80% or 90%, something like that) so input watts should be reasonable close to output watts. At the end of the scale class A amps can be as little as 12.5% efficient. It is surprising that when playing music at sane volumes, an might be drawing only a couple of watts.
