id appreciate it but ive also disabled Alac on my lms and force it to transcode to flac but NAS users might not have the cpu to do that.
Another question. Ive enabled the -V PCM to allow alsamixer to control volume on my DAC directly and it works but its using decibel vs raw api and the volume on most apps work as a percent so 0-25% in my app goes from -80dbi to -40 whereas 25-100 is adjusting the last -40 to 0. Thats the nature of parabolic volume but im wondering if raw api would give better control.
