I's also like to comment on above instructions. 1. soa usually has user "aur" for makepkg purposes already onboard. There might be no need to setup a different user.
2. You can run makepkg with options " makepkg -sri" This will install all dependencies, install the package and remove the dependencies on successful build. No need to run pacman -U afterwards. 3. You might run into problems that the new user has no root permission to install the package. In this case /etc/suduoers file has to be adapted accordingly. I'm wondering if there is a reasonable place where we could upload pre-build packages per platform. ::: ' Touch Toolbox and more' (http://soundcheck-audio.blogspot.com) ::: by soundcheck ------------------------------------------------------------------------ soundcheck's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34383 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101624 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
