That's the issue I mentioned. The latest openssh update restricts root login!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody has to run the ssh tweaks I mentioned earlier. What you can do now is following. Insert the SD card into your SD-card reader on your PC. If you're on Linux just run echo "PermitRootLogin yes" >> /MOUNTPOINT/etc/ssh/sshd_config Replace mountpoint with the path to your SD card mountpoint. otherwise fire up your preferred editor, open /MOUNTPOINT/etc/ssh/sshd_config and add PermitRootLogin yes at the end of the file and save it.
