As a test I reassembled one of my RasPi 2B's with a HiFiBerry DAC+. Downloaded and wrote a fresh 1.19l piCorePlayer image to an SD card. Booted fine the first time. No problems whatsoever with running squeezelite or detection problems with LMS (LMS installed on a Intel NUC with Win 7 x64 and no firewall enabled). After configuring piCore for HiFiBerry DAC+ and rebooting I had sound coming out of my speakers from the HiFiBerry. No WiFi used however. Must be something else with his configuration. If I remember correctly there have been issues with newer RasPi board revisions in the past.
