Hi thanks for your report. It sounds like you are short of space on the mmcblk0p2 partition? Have you expanded this partition before you used the tce command? If you manage to compile the rotary encoder, I think many would appreciate if you could make it into a .tcz package. If you have problems please ask and I will see if I can help.
