I'm a piCorePlayer newby and I'm trying to get piCorePlayer running on the RPI2 I recently bought. I'm using the piCorePlayer1.21b_RPi2 image and I used Win32DiskImager to burn the image on a 1Gb microSD card.
When I boot the RPI2 with a HDMI screen attached to it, I can watch the boot process. The following appears on the screen: Booting Core7.0aplpha3 Running Linux Kernel 4.1.6-piCore_v7+. Checking boot options... Done. Starting udev deamon for hotplug support... Done. Scanning hard disk partitions to create /etc/fstab Setting Language to C Done. Starting Timezone to CET-1CEST.M3.5.0,M10.5.0/3 Done. Skipping rtc requested for the boot command line. Setting hostname to piCorePlayer Done. Ignoring swap partition(s) seek as requested. After that the boot process simply stops most of the time. >From the few times that the process continued, I noticed that the following step should be 'Loading Extensions'. Is there anyone who experienced similar problems and/or knows a solution for this..? The few times the boot process continues, I did not experience any problems setting up and connecting to my LMS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hein65's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64951 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
