Thank you all for your this update of piCorePlayer!
No problems with the touch function of the display (this is with a
Raspberry Pi 2B). During my short test I discovered two minor issues:
- The Quit button on the home page of the Joggler skin used to save
the settings I made in JiveLite and subsequently restart JiveLite.
With piCorePlayer's Advanced Mode -> Backup button I then saved these
changes to the SD card. If I select the Quit button in this version, I
get a blank screen and nothing happens.
- User commands entered in the piCorePlayer Tweak Commands textboxen
are truncated in this version from the first space character in the
string. I have the following command in textbox #1: 'ether-wake -i
eth0 aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff'. This get's truncated to 'ether-wake'. This
results in an warning/error when booting the Raspberry Pi. The
/usr/local/sbin/config.cfg _does_ show the complete command entered in
textbox #1!
There is a new firmware available for the official 7" screen which
allows turning on/off the backlight of the screen. There are still some
issues with this new firmware; e.g. touch function does not work if
there has been no user input for a specific amount of time. It would be
nice if we could use this feature as the blank screen screensaver in the
Joggler skin once these issues have been resolved. See
